Diagnoses of chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, multiple chemical sensitivities and mental illnesses are often just another way of saying that your doctor hasn’t quite figured out exactly what’s wrong with you yet.

Medical doctors often assume that their patients have mental illnesses because the standard laboratory tests that they typically order often do not detect the underlying physical causes of the symptoms of mental illnesses. Because doctors can’t find a smoking gun, they often offer their patients so-called designer drugs for mental illnesses and/or refer them to therapists. In short, mental illness has become a fad diagnosis.

This book presents a logical framework for finding the underlying physical causes of conditions like chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, multiple chemical sensitivities and many mental illnesses. This includes which laboratory tests to ask for and guidance for interpreting the laboratory’s test results.

Once you have your laboratory’s test results in hand, hopefully you’ll be able to prove to yourself, your family and your doctor that there is actually something physically wrong with you and you’re not just making it up. This book also provides you with the background to intelligently negotiate with your doctor so your can get the procedures and various non-prescription and prescription treatments that you may need in order to recover.

Testing and treating the underlying causes of a wide variety of other conditions are also discussed including fasting and reactive hypoglycemia, diabetes, headaches, sinusitis, eczema, psoriasis, arthritis, colds, flus, milk intolerance, bean intolerance and pain including plantar faciitis and neck, back shoulder, hip and knee pain.

You will also find discussions about women’s issues like PMS, perimenopause, menopause, overcoming infertility, and preventing miscarriages. Measures for protecting both men and women against heart attacks and strokes are also discussed.
